If Blossom says there are “no account fees,” why does the PDS talk about 1.2% in management costs?
When we say “no fees”, we mean that nothing is ever taken directly from your Blossom account.
The target return you see advertised is already net of all fund fees and costs. So if Blossom Save is targeting 5.95% p.a., Blossom Plus is targeting 6.50% p.a., or Blossom Grow is targeting 7.00% p.a., those are the returns you’re targeting after fund fees and costs are factored in.
No hidden charges. No account fees are deducted from your balance.
The 1.2% p.a. mentioned in the PDS is not a fee you pay. It’s the estimated fund cost already covered by the Blossom Fund itself.
For transparency, the estimated 1.2% p.a. fund costs are paid to our service providers: 0.7% to our investment manager, and 0.5% to our Responsible Entity.
The important part?
👉 You never pay any fees or costs directly out of your account.
👉 You earn up to 5.95%, 6.50% or 7.00% p.a. shown in the app, with the fund fees and costs already factored in.
