# What is a Blossom Kids account?

A Blossom Kids account is a simple way to save and invest for a child in your life - whether it’s your own kid, grandkid, niece or nephew, or someone special! 

Even if the account is named after a child you remain the legal owner. You have full control of, and access to, the funds at all times. 

When the child turns 18, it’s simple to switch the investment into their name.
