# When will my switch be processed? Is switching instant?

Switches are processed based on the product you’re switching from:

* **Save → Plus or Grow** – switches are processed instantly.
* **Plus → Save or Grow** – switches are processed after the end of each calendar quarter.
* **Grow → Save or Plus** – switches are processed after your 12-month term.

Note: Switching is treated the same as withdrawing and reinvesting. Redeeming your savings may give you taxable gains, depending on your individual circumstances. [Please refer to the PDSs](https://www.blossomapp.co.nz/documents) to learn more about how fixed income funds are taxed.
