As an alternative, you can choose to receive your verification code via WhatsApp, which many customers find more reliable. To set this up, download WhatsApp from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, return to the Blossom App, log in, select WhatsApp, and you’ll receive your verification code instantly. 

To enable short-code or automated messages please follow these steps. 


**Step 1: Check your message blocking settings** 

__To fix your iPhone settings:__


1. Open Settings
2. Tap Messages
3. Make sure Filter Unknown Senders is turned off
4. Scroll down and ensure SMS Filter / Unknown & Spam settings aren’t blocking messages
5. Open the Messages app 

   
   1. Check Recently Deleted 
   2. Check Unknown Senders
6. Search your messages for “STOP” or “BLOCK” — replying STOP to a short code can block future messages 

__To fix your Android settings:__


1. Open the Messages app
2. Tap the three dots (top right) → Settings
3. Go to Spam protection
4. Turn Spam protection off or check Blocked numbers
5. Open Blocked messages and unblock any short codes
6. Check you haven’t replied STOP to a previous verification message 

   

**Step 2: Check your mobile carrier** 

Some carriers block automated or short-code messages by default.

* Contact your mobile provider’s support team
* Ask them to enable short-code and automated SMS messages on your number
* Mention you’re trying to receive one-time passcodes (OTP) / verification codes 

This is the most common fix if the steps above don’t work.


**Please note:** we don’t offer email-based 2FA, as SMS and WhatsApp provide stronger protection against unauthorised access to your account. We introduced two-factor authentication to ensure only you can access your account, and keeping your funds and personal information secure is our number one priority.
